to Her

Imagine the sea lying still at night
The waters bathed in bright moonlight
Imagine on the shore stands a palm
Overlooking the waters serene and calm
Imagine a soft breeze in the air
Ruffling up your well-done hair
Imagine this scene in your mind
As it exists in mine entwined

Imagine this feeling of soothe and ease
That's how she makes me feel
Whenever I look at her pretty face
With every glance I steal

'Tis like that moonlit night
Peaceful, tranquil and calm
Her beautiful face shining bright
To sore eyes like a soothing balm
She's special among other girls
Replete with poise and grace
Her smile akin to a string of pearls
Lighting up her lovely face

This feeling of soothe and ease
Is how she makes me feel
Every time I see her noble face
With every glimpse I steal
